A young Native American named Cry River embarks on a journey into the deep forest to undergo a vision quest. At the presence of Mother Nature, he finds peace, meditation in solitude, and the meaning of life and death. Using his observational skills, he tries to communicate with the forest, only to be treated indifferently.
