When 16 year old Stephanie Anderson finds out she is pregnant, her parents choose to take her to abortionist Dr. Jacobs to get rid of the baby before her dad's political career is scarred. However, Stephanie's boyfriend and father of the child Jimmy Sullivan chooses to take the burden of saving his unborn child even if it means he has to kidnap Stephanie from the abortion clinic, defy her father - the Mayor and hide to Mexico till the baby is born, even if it turns into a federal case.
